Ludwig Van Beethoven was a great German musician. He was born on December 1 6,1770. He was a composer and a pianist. His first piano teacher was his father. His father was very strict（严厉的）with them. Ludwig would sometimes be in front of the piano crying. When he got older, he went to Vienna. He hoped that he would study with  Mozart. After just two weeks there Beethoven learned that his mother was badly ill, and he had to return home.           After his mother died, his mother died, h is father was sad that he began to drink all day. So Beethoven had to take care of his two little brothers by himself. Beethoven still kept on（继续）studying his music. Around 1796, he began to lose his hearing. By 1814, however, Beethoven was almost deaf. But he kept on studying by composing his music after he lost hearing. Ludwig Van Beethoven died on March26,1827 in Vienna.
